School Portraits and a busy school calendar

Back to school is crazy! I get it, really. I am a mother of three and even though one is in college and out of the house, the calendar is filling up! How is it that in just two months time they grow out of all their clothes? 

So back to the calendar, I have begun filling in all the important little dates and I am telling you I am having to use different colors just to keep it from becoming a black mess! I learned the hard way a few years ago to mark down the school photo day. It slips up and before you know it one of the kids comes home and tells you today was school picture day. You try to keep your jaw from hitting the floor when you eye this child from top to bottom and think "Why of all days did I let them wear that!".  Yup, did this. Not a good day, and I think my ranking of the mother of the year fell. Not that I was ever running.

Lucky for me, I'm a photographer and I was able to pencil in a school portrait day for the kids. But this got me thinking...what if other mothers fall into the same similar situation?

Wouldn't it be better if we could just plan the time and date? Pick a few outfits and props to match a background and voila! Another year captured, but in style and sharable!
